A CONTEMPORARY BRIDAL LOOK FT. KALKI FASHION & KAJOL R PASWWANHello guys! This is my first ever blog and I’m super excited to share with you guys my favorite looks, travel, collaborations, beauty, fashion, lifestyle & much more. If you don’t already know, this is Kajol R Paswwan, one of the top Makeup Artists from Mumbai. I have been in the Makeup & beauty Industry for almost 4 years. Ever since then Makeup has been my passion & I totally enjoy creating new looks with my own twist in it. You can read more in the Info section.
To begin with the look that I’m sharing with you guys today, it’s a modern bridal look, something really different from the traditional brides in a red lehenga. We recently did a photo shoot with KALKI Fashion, where I got to create this look. Talking about the outfit, it was the showstopper lehenga from their Mirabel Collection. A rich burgundy colored ensemble with intricate floral detailing in hints of peach, which I absolutely loved. To me, this lehenga represented a strong Indian woman, who yet has the elegance of a bride.
Staying true to the warm & deeper tones I decided to go for my all-time favorite eye look, which is the smokey eye & well defined brows, complimenting the heavy lehenga. The two most important aspects of the eye make i.e. lashes & colored lenses completed the eye makeup, just how I had imagined. For the base, I used a mix of two of my favorite foundations, for a full coverage & flawless effect. Later on to define the look further, I kept the contour pretty sharp and added a flush of neutral blush with a dash of natural highlight. Everything was kept minimal to make the eyes stand out and give a dramatic feel. Last but not the least, we come to my favorite part, the lipstick!
If you already follow me on Instagram, you would know how obsessed I’m with the Huda Beauty’s Liquid Lipstick and for this look too, I went for a muted nude lip color from that collection. For a change this look turned out to be all matte, looking extremely classy.
For the hair, we decided to keep it away from the face and went for a kind off messy bun with loads of volume. I think it looked amazing as an overall look. No doubt, it gave us some major bridal goals. The best part about this look is, one can wear this to their Phera as well as Reception/Cocktail. It fits for both the occasion. Hope you guys liked this look as much as I did creating it. All the products that I used for this look are mentioned below. Let me know your views, they mean a lot to me & enjoy all
